Who we are
Vogent Labs ("Vogent Labs," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI product studio providing software development, AI automation, SaaS development, UI/UX design, and related digital product engineering services. This policy applies to visitors of vogentlabs.com (the "Site").
Information we collect
We keep data collection deliberately minimal. The Site collects information in two ways:
Information you provide directly
When you submit our project inquiry form, we collect your full name, email address, country, and a description of your project. These are the only fields on the form — we don't collect phone numbers, company names, or budget information through it.
Information collected automatically
At the time of writing, this Site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and it does not maintain a visitor database or CRM behind the Site itself. Standard web server and hosting infrastructure (see "How information is shared" below) may log technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and reliability purposes; we do not access this data for marketing purposes.
How we use information
- To respond to project inquiries submitted through the contact form.
- To reply to messages you send to [email protected] directly.
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable.
We do not use the information you submit for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
Legal basis for processing (EEA/UK)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing the information you submit through the contact form is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry and, where an engagement progresses, taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) UK/EU GDPR).
How information is shared
We use a small number of service providers to operate the Site and process inquiries. We share information with them only as needed to provide the Site and respond to you:
- Resend — processes and delivers the email generated when you submit the project inquiry form.
- Vercel — hosts the Site and handles standard infrastructure-level request logging.
We do not share your information with data brokers, advertisers, or any party for their own independent marketing use. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vogent Labs, our users, or others.
Data retention
Project inquiry submissions are retained in our inbox for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and, if an engagement follows, for the duration of that business relationship and any applicable record-keeping period thereafter. You can request deletion at any time — see "Your privacy rights" below.
International transfers
Vogent Labs works with founders and businesses internationally, and our service providers (including Resend and Vercel) may process data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — for these transfers.
Your privacy rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or request restriction of our processing.
- Request a portable copy of the data you provided to us.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident
Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Cookies
This Site does not currently set analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details and for how this policy will be updated if that changes.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information submitted through the Site, including transport encryption (HTTPS) and input validation on our contact form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site evolves — for example, if we add analytics in the future. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to make the update noticeable.
